Bella’s Carnivore Gravy

This simple yet deeply satisfying gravy is a carnivore staple, relying on the natural reduction of bone broth and heavy cream to create a thick, pourable sauce without the need for flour or starch. As the mixture simmers, the flavors concentrate into a savory topping that perfectly complements poultry or pork. It’s the ideal way to add a layer of moisture and richness to leaner cuts of meat or homemade carnivore nuggets.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup bone broth
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Salt and seasonings to taste (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan over low to medium heat, add the bone broth and heavy whipping cream. Stir in salt and seasonings if desired.
  • Cook the mixture, stirring occasionally, and allow it to come to a gentle simmer.
  • Continue to simmer for about 12 to 15 minutes. The longer the liquid simmers, the thicker the gravy will become as the moisture evaporates.
  • Watch for the sauce to reach your desired thickness and consistency. Once it is thick enough to coat a spoon, remove the pan from the heat immediately.
  • Serve warm over chicken nuggets or cooked pork chops. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop over low heat, whisking to maintain a smooth texture.
