Bella’s Air Fried Burger Patties

Using an air fryer is a game-changer for burger lovers who want a perfectly cooked patty without the mess of stovetop grease splatter. The rapid circulation of hot air mimics a high-heat sear, creating a lightly browned exterior while keeping the center incredibly juicy and tender. It is the quickest way to get a consistent, mess-free meal on the table, whether you are cooking a single patty or enough for the whole family.

Cook Time 6 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 pounds ground beef
  • Salt or spices to taste

Instructions

  • Shape the ground beef into round patties of your desired thickness, keeping in mind they will shrink slightly during cooking. Season both sides of each patty generously with salt or your choice of spices.
  • Place the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping so the air can circulate freely around the edges.
  • Air fry at 400°F for 6 minutes. This will result in a patty with a browned exterior and a tender, juicy center. If you prefer a more well-done burger, you may add 1 to 2 minutes to the cooking time.
  • Carefully remove the patties from the air fryer basket and let them rest for a minute before serving.
  • Serve warm. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. These reheat beautifully in the air fryer at 350°F for 3 to 4 minutes to maintain their texture.
